Kean Alumni are required to have a current Alumni ID in order to check materials out of the Learning Commons. These may be obtained from the Kean Alumni Office: alumni@kean.edu or (908) 737-0599.
In order to check out books from the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons, Alumni must:
- Visit the Access Services Desk, where they may request a Library card.
- The Alumni Borrower must present an Alumni Photo Identification card.
- The person at the Access Services Desk will present them with a barcode sticker, which must be used to check out materials.
- Alumni Borrowers will have access to the Main Collection, however some Special Collections may not be accessible to Alumni.
