Publishing Resources

This guide features resources meant to support faculty and students in efforts to publish their scholarly research and creative works.

Purpose of this Guide

This Research Guide is designed to be a comprehensive resource for Kean University faculty and students to discover places for publishing their scholarly research and creative works. This guide was developed by the Learning Commons to be a collection of the publishing resources available to the Kean community.

Faculty Writing Circles (Fridays at Noon -- Hybrid)

This hands-on space is designed to bring scholars and writers together to collaborate, keep pace, or just write quietly. All faculty are invited to join-- all stages of the writing process and all needs are welcome. The writing circle is not a class, lecture, or pre-planned workshop. The writing circle is hosted by Dr. Agie Markiewicz-Hocking (Director of Learning Support Services) and uses the studio concept to provide writers with structured time, and peer support. The writing circle recognizes the collaborative nature of writing and celebrates the wisdom of peer engagement when conceptualizing, drafting, and revising compositions.
