The following equipment is available for loan. A valid Kean ID is required. Please ask a staff member at the front desk.
Short-Term Laptop Loaner
Laptops are loaned to students, faculty, and staff for a maximum of 48 hours. Upon checkout, a valid Kean ID and completion of the Laptop Loaner Agreement Form are required at the front desk.
Attention: Please note that the policy for laptop loans has changed. As of May 17, 2024, we will be instituting a late fee of $25.00 per day that the laptop is overdue.
Terms and Conditions:
Equipment is loaned for a maximum of 48 hours and must be returned by the specified due date. The borrower will be charged $25.00 per day for any overdue equipment.
Equipment must be returned by the borrower: laptop, charger, and laptop bag.
The borrower is responsible for the equipment during the loan period.
Any damage that occurs during the loan period must be reported. If the equipment is damaged when returned or if the equipment is lost, the borrower will be charged the appropriate fee (the University has the sole discretion in deciding whether the laptop is in acceptable condition).
Long-term Laptop Loaner
This form is currently inactive but will be available again soon. In the meantime, desktop computers are available for your use in the Learning Commons and at various locations across the campus.
Anyone using the computer resources and facilities at Kean University must abide by the Computer-Related Acceptable Use Policy.
