Welcome to Kean University. We hope that this guide will help ease your transition as you begin to use library resources provided by the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons for your class research projects. The Learning Commons offers a huge number of resources meant to support the work you do for your major, as you prepare for your career and life beyond college. This guide will direct you to select Learning Commons collections.
However, this guide provides just a snapshot of the Learning Commons' full resources. You may also access the Learning Commons main home page by clicking the Library link in the top left corner of this guide. Access a large collection of other guides, created for specific subject areas or majors, by clicking the LibGuides link, also in the top left corner.
Whenever you need help with searching for and/or accessing information, please be sure to ask ask a librarian for help! See the Ask a Librarian box on the right-hand side of this screen, where you will see a list of options available for contacting a librarian.
In Fall 2018, the Nancy Thompson Library Learning Commons began offering live webinars via the WebEx online conferencing platform as part of a 2018-2019 Kean University Quality First Initiatives project. Click the link below to view a recording of one of the initial webinars:
