Each of NJ’s 21 counties has an Area Agency on Aging designated to coordinate services for older adults in that county.
For students: good for comparing local service delivery, regional differences, community-based programs.

The NJ Courts site includes resources on elder justice, abuse/neglect/exploitation, consumer protection for older adults.
Very relevant in gerontology for the legal/ethical dimension: safeguarding older adults, rights, policy.

This division is the key state-unit for aging in NJ: it “receives federal funding through the Older Americans Act and serves as the focal point for planning services for older adults, developing comprehensive information about New Jersey’s older adult population and its needs.
