Special Session in L-115

Dragons in Your Library!

Dragons in your library_small

Fantasy role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) have been experiencing a renewed popularity among all ages. In this program, you will learn about the various types and genres of role-playing games and the ways that they can be used in an educational capacity. For those unfamiliar with Dungeons & Dragons or other tabletop role-playing games, this session will cover everything you’ve ever wanted to know about role-playing games but were afraid to ask. Much of the content of this program will be based upon the ongoing three-year Dungeons & Dragons campaign at Kean, and an exploration of the ways other libraries have been using gaming in their own programming.

Date: Monday, April 7, 2025

Time: 3:20 pm-4:20 pm

Location: computer lab (room L-115)
