Landscape Architecture

The Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) promotes the study, interpretation, and conservation of architecture, design, landscapes, and urbanism worldwide for the benefit of all. SAH serves a network of local, national, and international institutions and individuals who, by vocation or avocation, focus on the built environment and its role in shaping contemporary life.

Founded in 1899, ASLA is the professional association for landscape architects in the United States, representing more than 15,000 members. Landscape architects lead the planning, design, and stewardship of healthy, equitable, safe, and resilient environments.

The American Horticultural Society inspires a culture of gardening and horticultural practices that creates and sustains healthy, beautiful communities and a livable planet.

Consolidation American Nursery & Landscape Association and OFA - The Association of Horticultural Professionals. The AmericanHort Mission is to unite, promote, and advance the horticulture industry through advocacy, collaboration, connectivity, education, market development, and research.

The Garden History & Design Committee uses photography and research, the study of good design practices, educational and lecture programs, and internships to develop an appreciation of America’s gardens.

The Cross Estate Gardens, a project of the New Jersey Historical Garden Foundation in cooperation with the National Park Service.
