JSTOR database

Another great source of information on historical and contemporary art and design objects is JSTOR database.

You can find it by logging into Learning Commons main page and clicking on "Databases A-Z" option:

Please enter "JSTOR" into the search box and then click on its name to be taken to the main page.

Enter your search term into the search box. I chose "Empress Theodora Mosaic" as an example and received 506 results, which include journal articles, book chapters, images and documents:

If you are looking for images only, you can choose the "Images" option on top of the page.

If you need to find journal articles or book chapters, you can choose "All Content" option.

If you click on the "Journal" filter it will bring the 309 journal article results. Each article has the "Download", "Save" and "Cite" options:
