Kean Ocean

This guide serves as a gateway to library resources and services available to Kean University students, faculty, administrators, and staff working with Kean Ocean programs at Ocean County College.

Search Resources

Type your search terms into the "Search WorldCat" box on the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons home page to access WorldCat Discovery. WorldCat Discovery is the gateway to the print books, e-books, government documents, videos, and even some articles. Although Kean's holdings will come up first in the search, you will also learn about library holdings worldwide.

In addition, Kean Ocean patrons who locate a record for a Main Collection book of interest may request that the item be delivered from the main campus in Union to the Ocean County College Library. Simply fill out and submit this form:

OCCcat Online Catalog

Kean Ocean students with a Kean Photo ID and Library Barcode may borrow books from the Circulating Shelves of the Ocean County College Library. Use the OCCcat Online Catalog to search for books held by the Ocean County College Library.

Search the E-Book Databases

While e-books are accessible through WorldCat Discovery, another option is to search directly in the e-book databases listed below.

Working from off campus? If so, you will need to log in with your Kean Google username and password.

Kean Ocean patrons may use the Ocean County College interlibrary loan service to request books not owned by either the Kean or Ocean library:
